You can’t get any simpler than this. Dinner in 15 minutes.
6 oz. portions of halibut filet (number depending on number of diners)
1 -2 Tbsp. salted butter
Salt and pepper – preferably white pepper)
Lightly salt and pepper the halibut.
Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Sauté halibut about 5 minutes per side – should have a slight golden crust over portions of it.
Serve with Iron Hub Chardonnay.
NOTES: some options –
Garnish with chopped flat leaf parsley.
Drizzle fresh lemon over the plated halibut.
Squeeze some fresh lemon juice into the butter while cooking, then spoon the butter over the halibut.
