Perfect for wine enthusiasts and newbies alike, Behind the Cellar Door is a weekend filled with delectable food pairings, educational seminars, and hard-to-find wines all in an intimate Amador Wine Country setting. Behind the Cellar Door is one of the most entertaining and educational wine events anywhere.
Behind the Cellar Door guests receive a commemorative wine glass for all of your weekend tastings, as well as thoughtful food pairings, themed seminars and demonstrations guaranteed to enhance your knowledge and appreciation of remarkable Amador wines. New options and experiences available for 2018!
Your ticket is your key to open the cellar doors at more than 40 Amador wineries. Pick up your wine glass and wristband and your chosen winery location and then make your way around beautiful Amador Wine Country. At each participating winery locaiton you will enjoy thoughful food pairings and specially selected tasting flights along with barrel tastings, seminars and demonstrations from our member winemakers.

Winemaker Tom and Assistant Spencer Jones will offer barrel tasting and blending fun at 11:30am Saturday and 12 noon Sunday on our new patio.
Check out the views from our new tasting room and enjoy Smoked Gouda Quesadillas and Drunken Zin Pasta with three award-winning Zinfandels.
